A striped red-and-white sequined fish swims at the center, drawing the eye down past a seahorse curled gracefully beside branches of coral and sea fans, capturing the reef at its most still and elegant. Below, a soft-shelled turtle glides past, unhurried, while a starfish rests among the coral like it's settled there for the season.
